For this week's Cyclers of Seoul, we met up with Daniel for our Monday QnA.

Q: Where are you from and how long have you been in Seoul?
-
A: I’m California and have been in Seoul 10 years. I’m a daily cyclist in Seoul for the past 4 years
=
Q: What bicycle do you ride? (Brand, model, style)
-
A: I ride a Wabi Cycles Classic, 2012 steel fixed gear
=
Q: What is the best thing about Seoul?
-
A: The speed of traffic in Seoul is relatively low so city riding is fairly safe. I’m used to riding in traffic and that type of fun chaos. I find that drivers aren't surprised to share lanes with a bike, but you still have to be diligent and safe while cycling with traffic since bad things can happen at any time..
=
Q: Where is the best place to ride?
-
A: Best ride so far is anywhere out of the city, or even better: central Seoul after 2am during summer. The streets are quiet, empty, and basically becomes a huge urban playground. There are also some great hills north of the river in the Itaewon area.
=
Q: Anything else you would like to share?
-
A: Bike camping is also a blast and cheap - convenience stores are everywhere and open 24/7. In my experience, there seems to be a law that allows overnight camping along any body of water.
