Today Casual ride with the xc hardtail today. Stopped to listen to ice making noises while drinking coffee... And then humped the bike up an icy small mountain road to ride it down hard. Was fun with changing terrain...some spikeys on the tires would have helped...only fell once.
Will have to go back with the gopros and a few am riders for some more fun

Workout list:
This is a superset circuit...so no breaks in between anything...just good ol suffering ^^
If this is your first time, feel free to do 3 rounds...but we do 5 rounds
1 round equals to:
- 10 burpees with chin up
- 50 lunges (25 per leg)
- 10 knee tuck jumps
- 10 diamond pushups
- 10 triceps dips
- 20 abs fingers to toe cross (10 per side)
- 10 cross knee to elbow tucks
- 10 leg raises
- 10 side to side ab raises
Do it 4 more times ^^
We look so future with our facemask...we know...but sometimes the air is just a little crappy and good to wear a mask.

I am not shitting you...these are amazing taste, full of good nutrients and are super easy to make. We eat these everyday...cause they are healthy and we love chocolate...
Well basically, without getting into a nutrition less...it is because of the simple ingredients...they are just that super awesome....
- 2 cups of sweet potatoes (glycogen rich...which your body needs for recovery after a big workout)
- 1 whole grated zucchini (these actually have protein, vitamins and adds moisture)
- 1/3 cup of Honey (good healthy stuff period)
- 1/2 cup of quinoa flour (healthy and can make your own using a grinder or blender)
- 1.5 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of 100% cocoa powder (we always end up putting more though)
STEPS
It was a cold morning and windy at -13C...but the air is fresh... So decided to be less lazy...and went out for a 640am bicycle ride to see the sunrise.
The wind...niptastic...i went out at 640am to catch the sunrise... Was a nice sunrise...but my bike punished me for sleeping outside. My front brake froze and so did my front shifter. It made the climbs harder and descents more interesting; especially with some little hard snow crust and ice.
Did i pee on my bike you ask? Well yes i did. That golden shower gave it some temporary rotatory satisfaction...but it was only temporary, although worth it to start the steeper descent in relative safety...

It's gonna get colder in the next few days...so here is another winter cycling tip...ice
Don't use your brakes on ice...keep a strong core..keep your bike straight..and coast ..if looks bad...get off and walk safely and slowly...don't fall and hurt yourself.

Be careful for ice patches while cycling. Some tips
- reduce air pressure
- use cx tires or other
- spikey tires when more extreme
- always use good judgement and ride safe .

It is awesome how you can just jump on your bike and ride...ride to your hearts contempt...you literally have access to thousands of kilometers of paths you can ride while you're in Korea. We got a bit of snow today! Yay...took out the all mountain hardtail for a little rip in the snow.
Remember those roots and those wooden logs as stairs get very slippery when wet/snowy!

We said it...the air quality sucks...it blows...the PM 2.5 (which is the smallest micro particles that screws you up) have been dangerously high these past few days.
As a effort to help in some way, the metro system in Seoul, Korea's biggest city, is having free subway rides for commuters today....but only during peak hours. Which to me blows since during peak rush hour times...the system is already taxed as it is. Not sure if you have ever taken the Seoul subway during rush hours...but you are literally a sardine in a box...pushed..squished...degraded. I can see why people are so pissed off in big cities...the busy commute is a good reason to screw up your start to your day with negative energy and F up your whole chi.
The metro was free the other day too...and some news outlets reported that it doesn't seem to be too effective since they only saw a 2% increase in normal commuter usage. I think it would be nice if free times were offered in a bigger window...not just for the small peak rush hour window. I took the subway at 9am and I had to pay...which is fine...but sucks that I don't get a benefit because I am heading to work later than the massive unfortunate horde of unhappy subwaytastic commuters.
Do you think these free rides will help...do you think this is something that would make you leave your car at home?
